Martha E. Tope, who married Samuel
Rapp, and have had three children,
one dying in infancy.
Mary E. Tope, who married James
Sheridan, and they have four children,
all living.
Jacob E. Tope, who married Sarah C.
Hopper; they have one child, who is
living.
Catharine I. Tope, who married
Lewis Rapp, and has one child, living.
Oscar Tope, married to Annie L.
House; and they have one child, living.
Alven D. Tope, Ezra N. Tope, and
Maggie D. Tope are still single and at
home.
9. Joseph Tope was married to
Hettie Green, and lived at the Tope's Mills
for a few years, then bought a farm
near
his death. He droppedead and was found lying in the cellar-way, at his
home on April 4, 1884, at the age of 55 years, 5 months and 19 days.
His wife died Aug. 14, 1892, aged 71
years, 4 months
and 22 days. Interment at Tabor cemetery. They had eight
children,

They had fifteen children, two of whom died in infancy: Hettie

Eva Oretta, Sarah Emmeline, Mary
Samantha, William Bascom, and Olonzo
Harrison
George M. Tope, who married Ruth
Elizabeth Hood, who was born in Car-
roll county, Mo. They married in that state in 1875.
He is a farmer and
their address is Coal, Mo. They have had nine children: Ethel
Blanche, Wm.
Jessie, Joseph Earnest, John
Bacsom, Mary Lydia, Ezra Goldwin, Nellie Het-
ty Elenor, Clyde, and George Wilbur.
Samatha J. Tope, who died April 3,
1868,--35 years, 4 months and 25
days; was not married.
Clarrisa, who died when quite young.
E. E. Tope, who is a physician of
considerable practice. He married Emma
Whittaker, of Harrison county, practiced medicine at Tippecanoe, O.,
for a
few years and then located at
Leesville, 0., where he still practices. No
children.
Lydia M. Tope, a twin, was married
to William Rutledge, a farmer, of near
Algonquin, 0. They have one son,
Frank.
Mary E. Tope, a twin, was married
to J. T. Hole, an attorney-at-law and
editor. He was a graduate of Mount Union college, they lived a while at
Alliance,
0., then moved to Washington, Kan., where he was editor and proprietor
of

of aPRIL 8, 1896 announced the sad fact of his death.
We
learn that the widow is left with
eight children.
Joseph B. Tope, married to Mary B.
Brower, daughter of John Brower, and
half sister of David Brower, of
Bowerston, 0. He is a farmer, living on his
father's old place near Palermo. They have had three
children, one of whom is dead.
