He was considered a champion squirrel hunter of Carroll county. His wife died of cancer, and we believe he married again. He went to Minnesota, then Noragon county, Kansas, where he was eaten out by grasshoppers, then he moved to Oregon, and where he was at last account, but
his address is not known. There is one of his daughters living at Brooklyn Iowa, married to a man by the name of Harrison (Christian name not known), but she does not know her father's address. He was blind of an eye, having had it put out by a bow and arrow. We have no account of any of his children.
    6. Levi Tope was a school teacher and a farmer. He was married to Sarah Davis sister of George and William Davis, of Carroll county. Ohio. They went to Putnam county, and it is thought that they died there. lt is Known that they had two children. Hiram and Martha, before moving to Putnam, but here their hlstory drops out.  Some of our friends told us they thought they were living at or near Lima, 0., but we wrote to an acquaintance
